BEST SOUTHERN AMBROSIA

It's been the most unusual weather for August in Texas! Nice enough to sit outside and enjoy almost "fall-like" days! This southern ambrosia is always served at most ladies luncheons in the south. Whether it be casual or elegant, your guests will think this is the BEST ambrosia they ever tasted!

SOUTHERN AMBROSIA
6 ounces maraschino cherries, drained then quartered
6 ounces mandarin oranges, drained
8 ounces pineapple chunks, drained
20 ounces crushed pineapple, drained very well
15 ounces fruit cocktail, drained
16 ounces sour cream
8 ounces Cool Whip
1 (3 1/2 ounce) packets instant vanilla pudding
2 cups mini marshmallows
3/4 cup flaked coconut

Drain and quarter cherries first. Then drain and squeeze the crushed pineapple. Next drain the remaining canned ingredients and stir in the pudding mix, sour cream and cool whip. The last step is to add the marshmallows and gently fold them in. Chill and serve!
