The Blogs…….places where sometimes inspiration and happiness capture my own attention. Some I have followed are now abandoned with no reason given. Perhaps it was that the writer was no longer inspired or interested. Maybe their life became more exciting or more difficult. Whatever the reason, I miss visiting their sites. At the same time I've noticed there are still those steadfast bloggers that continue on, and I've wondered about the quality of what they write and why they were different.
They share their lives unselfishly. The good, the bad and the ugly! They don't focus exclusively on crafts or decorating and therefore don't seem to feel compelled to reveal some incredible accomplishment in each post, which admittedly, can be exhausting. The best of them don't monetize their blog or use gimmicks to drive readers to their site, they just share their lives. Humble, simple, rich lives, family and friends, cooking, knitting, flea markets, fashion, decor, homes and gardens... and through their story telling my own life was made better.
Thank you for your interest in my little blog. I thank you for all of your kind comments. There have been times I have said thank you to someone and have never received a response? Mother always taught me to respond with kindness, which I strive to continue. I try to always say thank you to those who have posted something noteworthy. It's uplifting to hear someone say "thank you" isn't it? Sometimes it can be as something as simple as an especially good recipe, a book they have recommended, a beautiful photo, a place they have visited or maybe their lovely garden. They are stories worth sharing. To be continued.......
Great post! I've often wondered what happened to some of the Bloggers whose blogs have been abandoned - that I used to visit all the time. Have a wonderful weekend. Jan ♥

I've especially enjoyed your recent Holiday posts with the snowy pictures and meaningful text...plus the delicious recipes/photos.
