  1. A lovely post for the day, Estelle. The green ball jars are so pretty. Your pistachio cake sounds delicious. I need to buy that kind of pudding one of these days as I often see recipes using it and never have any. Have a lovely day.

  4. Estelle, I'm thinking of making this cake today for company tonight but have a question about the 'frosting' part. Do you beat the milk and pudding together first then add the Cool Whip or to you just put it all together in a bowl and mix it up? Thanks for your help. I know you are a few hours behind me but I'd love a response asap. :) It's 11:30 am here. Pamela

    1. Good morning Pamela! I have just read your comment/question and sincerely apologize for such a late response. We were out of town all weekend. I hope you were able to clarify your question and make the cake for your company. I probably should have clarified this in the recipe but, the whipped topping is always folded into the pudding or custard at the very end. This would hold true in a salad or dessert. I so appreciate your visit and again, apologize for not being able to answer quickly. Thank you so much!
