as promised, we are going to hop over to Atlanta
and see how The Divine Miss M is transforming
her lovely home into an Autumn style....
don't you just adore this cute door mat?
wooden sign...how did I miss this one when
shopping at Walmart?
I sure do....
however Miss M has made a few trips recently and
found two beautiful Fall pillows for her front entryway......
great finds at Home Goods.....
of students going back to the classroom from virtual learning
which means the student commits to attending school
one day a week, Thursday, for a period of time
before Phase Two begins.....
both Mom and Dad were nervous about this decision
but decided it was needed and it turned out to be
a GREAT decision...he loved it!
Keeping in mind this was a brand new school
with 6th, 7th and 8th graders...new students
changing classes six times a day....etc...
he made new friends and loved all of his teachers!!!!
This is a long day.....school lets out at 4:05 pm....for a treat
he ate three cinnamon muffins....with a big glass of milk.....
ATLANTA is soon to be beautiful...all that gorgeous
fall color is beginning to appear throughout the neighborhoods..
gosh I miss visiting them.....
Back at home....we manage to find things to do....
the darling will continue to work from home until who knows when?
We know it will not be until some time next year that people
may go back into the office.....how very odd....
however, most say they enjoy working at home.....
I know I have loved it.....
Texas has been blessed with beautiful fall like weather...
a bit strange as we normally do not have cool weather
this early in September.....it's been marvelous!!!
Across the greenbelt...you can begin to see the early fall changes
as the cottonwood trees begin to thin....I catch sights of gently falling leaves
and it's so, so peaceful.......
DRESSING THE ENTRYWAY
the weather has been so gorgeous on the weekends....
we purchased our Mums and Pumpkins on Saturday....
I adore seeing homes throughout the neighborhood
showcasing the beauty of the season....so festive...
it's good for the soul.....
to linger over morning coffee and a small breakfast....
today it was warm croissants and Pumpkin Butter....
and it's delicious....also comes in a pretty drinking glass
when all the Pumpkin Butter has been enjoyed to the last drop.....
homemade chicken noodle soup....
with a hearty broth and all fresh vegetables.....
when ready to serve...
One of my favorite recipes to make every Autumn....
is Crescent Roll Apple dumpings...so easy and
SO DELCIOUS!!!
This is a old family favorite from when the children
were little and school age.....I've made this for many years....
I mean, why wouldn't you?
Cinnamon and Nutmeg always go together......
Mine does and I always find such cute things.....
Yes, I have a weakness for scarecrows.....
and placed new Fall sachets in all the bathrooms
and the baskets where I keep throws....
this scent is divine.....
and the scent is marvelous.....
love it....I just may leave it this way all year long....
he's going to be the centerpiece for my Harvest dinner.....
I'm really looking forward to this one....
She is so beautiful......and I love having angels displayed in our home.....
in various nooks and crannies.....
still arranging....taking away here and there....
keeps my hands and mind busy...which is a very good thing....
I love it when I catch Mae enjoying time in a sun puddle...
I mean she is so gorgeous without even trying.......
It's time to change the calender to October.....
I plan to enjoy each and every day...how about you?

Your food items really look tasty. I am sure your home smells heavenly. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
