JULY BIRTHDAYS WEEKEND

Our family celebrates three birthdays during the month of July...

First up is son Nick......

His arrival into the world was quite an event....

we were at the HUGE July 4th fireworks show at Vinoy Basin

in St. Petersburg and labor pains began...

we made a wild ride over to Tampa and McDill AFB just

in the "nick" of time!

I am tinkled pink over this lovely bouquet

and new Hearth and Home pitcher from son Robbie...

and....the sweetest, most heartfelt card ever!

These are absolutely stunning!

Things are right with the world when we spend
time with our youngest...home from Austin.
At the end of the month, he will be traveling
to Colorado with close friends all in honor
of an upcoming wedding...Rob is best man
for his friend Terrell.
They started school together in kindergarten
and continued all the way through high school.
They attended different colleges, but have remained
good friends, even sharing an apartment together for a few years
after they graduated and began their careers!

This was a special breakfast treat for this special weekend...
oh honey....divine!

I treated myself to this new veggie chopper.....
I have wanted one for years!!!!



On Sunday, Rob headed back to Austin
and I was treated to a marvelous visit
with our grands and son Nick!

I was gifted this beatiful birthday cake

which was a decadent moist white cake

with raspberry filling....my all time favorite!

Spending time with two out of our four children
was truly the best gift of all.....and yes,
I am fully admiting to my age....why not?

It's well worth turning another year OLDER when
celebrating with family...
time is certainly passing faster these days....
I am always thankful for another day...how about you?
