SALTED CARAMEL CINNAMON STREUSEL APPLE BUNDT CAKES.....PERFECT FOR AN IMPROMTU DINNER PARTY

I'm sure we have all experienced that same panic
when your husband calls and says...
my boss is in town and I would like to invite him to dinner....
TONIGHT!!!
The pressure is on.....
what to serve to impress your VIP guest?
I have found that most people appreciate
a good steak, baked potato, fresh salad,
a good loaf of hot french bread and a little sweet ending!
If you find yourself wondering about a dessert
that will WOW your company,
then tuck this one into your recipe collection
for future reference!
It's one most of my guests LOVE!
They will never guess, it's semi-homemade!

Yes, a great dessert can be easy, yet impressive!

You will need a box of Cinnamon Streusel Muffin Mix,
a jar of Salted Caramel Topping, pecans and a few fresh apples!

Now I ask you...does this look divine and decadent or what?

SALTED CARAMEL CINNAMON STREUSEL APPLE BUNDT CAKES
1 box of Cinnamon Streusel Muffin Mix
1/2 cup, plus 2 T. + 2 t. milk
1/4 cup oil
2 eggs
2 small apples, peeled, cored and diced
Salted Caramel Topping
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 T. melted butter
1/4 t. Allspice

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix together muffin mix, streusel topping, milk, oil and eggs.
Batter will be somewhat lumpy..do not over mix.
Prepare mini-bundt tins with cooking spray.
Peel, and dice apples.
Spoon one half batter in each bundt.
Sprinkle evenly with diced apples.
Spoon remaining batter over each bundt.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
Allow to cool about 5 minutes before inverting.

When ready to serve,
heat pecans with 2 T. melted butter, sprinkled with Allspice.
Heat Salted Caramel Topping in microwave for 1 minute.
Top each bundt cake with warm Salted Caramel Sauce,
topped with a touch of whipped cream and buttery hot pecans.

I served this to a special dinner guest one evening..
he took one bite and said,
"Oh Betsy....you are a naughty girl.....!!"
