HIGHLIGHTS FROM ATLANTA

We had a fabulous week in Atlanta
while visiting the Divine Miss M
and
her family!
I think we chose the perfect week to visit
as the weather was cool and breezy!

When we arrived after a day of travel,
we feasted on the freshest grilled tuna salad for dinner!

We met Piper Rose for the very first time
and
of course, fell head over heels in love with her!

While the boys played golf,
we were off to Avalon to see
Finding Dory!
What a beautiful theater!!
We had reserved seats which were
huge leather recliners complete with a little
snack tray!
I felt like a queen!

This is a relatively new upscale shopping area!

A shot of The Divine Miss M!

It proved to be a great day for golfing!

Cocktail hours on their beautiful deck

On Sunday, we were off to the Atlanta Zoo
to celebrate Father's Day, as well as.
The Duke's birthday!

Oh look...is that a little monkey I spy?

THE most beautiful animal ever...
just so majestic!

Why is it hot dogs with chips and coca-cola
taste so delicious at the Zoo?

This was a nighttime run
which was the ending to a perfect
fun-filled day!

The grill master at work
grilled burgers for the birthday bash!

I love family dinners in their kitchen!

Me and our little Piper Rose!

It was time to say good-bye
and the best highlight of our trip
was seeing Miss Irma, AKA, Ohio Grandma
at the airport...
she flew in right before we boarded our flight back to
Love Field!
Luke referred to this meeting as
"The Grandma Exchange!"
We had time to enjoy a fabulous lunch at the airport
and it was SO great to see her!
Hopefully, it will not be another seven years
in between our visits!

Thanks y'all for a fabulous trip!

Oh this is your first meeting with Piper Rose. I didn't realize that. Black labs are the sweetest.
