Christmas Elegance
The ornaments sparkle, shimmer and shine on our Christmas trees.
Each tree reflects your unique style.
Families love to get together over the holidays.
You can easily serve up an elegant, yet easy, dessert with this decadent fudge topping.
Our dear friend, Miss Annie Dean, taught me this little hostess secret years ago.
Once you make the sauce, you can keep it in the fridge and
just warm it up when you are ready to entertain your guests.
This is a real treat for the chocolate lover, but don't count the calories!
Out-of-This-World Fudge Topping
Vegetable Spray
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup cocoa powder
2 cups sugar
1/2 t. salt
3/4 cup Evaporated Milk
7 oz. of Marshmallow Cream
1 t. vanilla
In a 4-quart saucepan, spray with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the cocoa; add the sugar, salt and evaporated milk. Stir until well blended. Add marshmallow cream and bring to a boil. Boil for about 5 minutes. Stir constantly. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla. Cool for 20 minutes and beat with spoon. Spoon into small glass jars and refrigerate. When ready to serve, set the jar in a little hot water until pourable. Serve over angel food bundt cakes or ice cream!
