FALL FOODS AND COASTAL LIVING

This is what's on my mind....
fall baking and my vision board for coastal living...
two vastly different topics I realize...
but it's how we roll these days.....

Have you chosen some new recipes you would like to try this season?
How about this APPLE CIDER POUNDCAKE.....

Saturday and Sunday are football days at our house....
The Aggies and the Cowboys are the feature and we
can be sure this BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP will be on the menu!

Another family favorite is TACO TOUCHDOWN DIP!!!!

This homemade SALTED CARAMEL SAUCE
is going to be featured for ice cream sundaes this fall....
YUM-O!

So I hope you were inspired to try some new recipes
that will bring smiles to your family!

On to inspiration for a coastal condo....
our dream for retirement years...

The first two colors have been chosen....
Soft blue and white....
lots of it!

The darling asked me what I have in mind for the living room
and
I need look no further....
TWO favorites for our inspiration board!

  1. Looks good. My granddaughter got her PHD in psychology this past May. She did her internship at Texas A&M.
She chose sports psychology as her career and was hired by Texas A&M's Athletic Dept.
Gig 'Em Aggies! How 'bout them Cowboys?! Give Ms Mae a hug and kiss from me.

    1. We have a close friend who built their dream home in the Carribean Janey...the love it...so why not? I think you would probably get a lot of use out it with your large family! Exciting!

    2. heheheheh....when I said "homes" above I was talking about assisted living homes for crazy ol' women!! So funny but as the mom of only boys, I used to worry alot about how the care would go as we got older. You know, a daughter just knows how to do that stuff. So when the talk turns to my daughter in laws taking care of me...I always glare and tell 'em to put me somewhere tropical..so of course, they've decided a really nice "caribbean home" would work FOR THEM!!!!!
