  1. Wishing Luke great success in the third grade. Your sweet grandson ,Luke, is growing up. I think lots of others are thinking of autumn...I wonder if it's because schools are starting so early. Some times I eat cereal in yogurt for breakfast...makes it special. Can't wait to see what all you are packing for your wonderful vacation. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  2. Our quads start kindergarten on August 28th and I'm so happy it isn't any earlier!
I always look forward to your beach posts! Beach fashion! Love that! We leave Saturday for Gulf Shores as a family. Quads and both sets of grandparents. This will be fun! Amber sent me a video of the kids in the shower singing, 'Aloo-ha! We're going to the beach!' as they did hula motions with their hands! I asked the other grandmother if we could all wear flowing white dresses and coordinate some cool photos while holding our champagne glasses......I guess we won't be doing that. ;(. Still, I'm trying to think what Louis Dean and I could do as a couple. For sure there will be a group picture, Amber will make sure of that! But I don't get to the beach often anymore and certainly not one with white sand! Any suggestions?

    1. How wonderful Linda...it's such an awesome family vacay. The children are going to enjoy being beach babies all day long. We have always coordinated our colors when doing family photos...makes for a more beautiful picture...we have done white, khaki, blue and navy..but, you know, just whatever makes you happy and feel joyful is my recommendation...cannot wait to hear and see the memories you make! My posts this week are all about packing..hope you enjoy them!

  4. Can't wait to read more about what's happening in the upcoming week. I can't believe how many kids start school this early. We don't go back to school until after Labor Day here.
Hope you have a blessed Sunday afternoon/evening. xo Diana

  5. your breakfast looks refreshing.
My grand daughter will start kindergarten this year. Why do they have to be at school at 7:30 and then they are out at 2:15. Seems like a long day to me. I wish Luke a great time in 3rd grade. Grands are so speecial and grow up too fast. Happy week ahead to you
