TAKE TWO...A WILLIAMSBURG MEMORY ON DISPLAY

It all came together in the end.
She completed the look she wanted and I think it is stunning!

This has the "WOW FACTOR" for me! What a cozy corner she created.
If you missed this post describing how this seating area came together, you can find it here. http://themainehouse.blogspot.com/2014/08/a-williamsburg-memory-on-display.html

I think they are working toward winding down summer and
welcoming the new school year and the autumn season!
Before we know it, Halloween will be upon us!
In the meantime, Luke and Izzy enjoyed a fun-filled play date at the park!
Could they be anymore adorable?

I just love the new bench and the cozy
welcoming you will be giving your guests Miss M!
I can see a cute little witch and a big fat Santa displayed on this during the holidays!
Happy decorating Shug! Job well done!

  1. Absolutely LOVE the decor! So , the bench is not meant to be used...at all??? If someone was to sit on it i probably would have put the basket and blanket and pillow on the same side then it would look inviting for someone to sit... Do you have people take their shoes off when entering your home.....? We do and i like this idea of the bench to make it easier to put shoes on and off... Hugs! deb

    1. HA....thank you Deb! She will appreciate this kind comment! Yes, we both request people remove their shoes at the door! I cannot tolerate shoes inside...only clean socks! I am sure she will invite her guests to sit down to remove their shoes and simply move the pillow when she has company! I'm totally with you on this one! I can tell you that Maine people were the most polite guest ever and everyone removed their shoes without asking.....I suppose they were used to it with all the snow! I just love Mainers!!!!!
