I cannot tolerate shoes inside...only clean socks! I am sure she will invite her guests to sit down to remove their shoes and simply move the pillow when she has company! I'm totally with you on this one! I can tell you that Maine people were the most polite guest ever and everyone removed their shoes without asking.....I suppose they were used to it with all the snow! So , the bench is not ...Absolutely LOVE the decor! So , the bench is not meant to be used...at all??? If someone was to sit on it i probably would have put the basket and blanket and pillow on the same side then it would look inviting for someone to sit... Do you have people take their shoes off when entering your home.....? We do and i like this idea of the bench to make it easier to put shoes on and off...
