STAYING CONNECTED WITH OUR NEW NORMAL

HELLO LOVES!
How is everyone holding up these days?
Changes are happening almost hour by hour aren't they?
It's going to be okay.....we are ALL going to be okay!

Well, I am going to assume that everyone's plans for
an Easter gathering have now been altered....
a small family egg hunt for the littles can be worlds of fun
and Easter dinner will be more meaningful than ever!

The spring weather has blessed us with rain which
is going to be marvelous for spring planting......

And...THIS is the little theme for the summer patio,,,,,
I know our friend Linda at Linda's Life Journal
will appreciate this.....
another little something to look forward to.....

With food items being hit or miss right now.....
I am trying new brands of coffee.....
this one was pretty darn good!

And, It's the little things that can bring joy and comfort....
such as a good raspberry jam...

spread on hot buttered toast in the morning.....

Another morning called for warm Orange Rolls....
an all-time favorite!

On this particular morning, being a bit cool
at 46 degrees, we went outside for fresh air....

And, it seemed like the perfect time to plant
my seeds...those spring rains will work wonders......

What a beautiful way to chase away the stress and worry..
it's times like these we need Dorothy and the Land of Oz...

Along with a big pot of homemade Spiced Tea......

Nothing better than to snuggle up with a blanket
and watch Downton.....old friends bring such comfort.....

For the nightstand,
I chose A Quiet Strength....

We treated ourselves to a Papa Murphy's Pizza
to make Friday night seem closer to normal......

We take short rides just to be out for a bit....
everything is looking beautiful, green and spring like.....

Other family members are finding way to
be compliant and entertain themselves......

With our Cali kids on lockdown,
they are both managing to entertain themselves...
this called for an evening of Cosmo's and trying to
recreate the University of Texas football stadium with Lego's!!

Luke was finally treated to Cinnamon Pancakes one morning.....

At HOME......it's a good place to be!

  1. Oh beautiful post and filled with good thoughts and happy choices. You’d look great in scrubs! So far, everything is good, but my prayer is that it will be over soon. I don’t like the absence of hugs and handshakes. Yes, I, too, have noticed that brand loyalty is pretty much out the window...one takes what she can get. Love to you...

  3. Bees are vital and I do love all things 'Bee!' We are supposed to pick up two new hives later in April and I truly hope and pray things will allow us to do that!
Louis Dean has been gardening here at home and you are so right - the seeds are sprouting up like they can't wait! And as I sit here by the French doors that are open to the outside - it has started to rain again. Light rain so I'm pretty sure I cans still get out later this afternoon and work in my herb garden.
