BACON JALAPENO DEVILED EGGS....SOME LIKE IT HOT!

Hey y'all!
It's Opening Day at the Ballpark!

It's all about our Texas Rangers.....WHOOP!

It's time to play outdoors!
And....eat all that yummy food, like grilled hot dogs topped with
lots of pickle relish and onions!

Now, THIS recipe may not be for some ladies,
however Texas gals can "run with the cowboys"
down here in the great state of Texas.
My guys like it HOT!

These April days are all about Beauty and the Bistro!

The boys have asked me to spice up my normal
deviled eggs to a hotter version
and I do believe this one hit the mark!
As, you can tell....they were quickly disappearing!
Y'all have got to try these.....
talk about good!!!!

BACON JALAPENO DEVILED EGGS
12 large eggs, hard boiled and peeled
3/4 to 1 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 t. rice wine vinegar
3/4 t. ground mustard
1/2 t. sugar
2 jalapenos, seeded and chopped
6 pieces bacon, cooked, crisp, and crumbled
Paprika

Slice the hard boiled eggs in half, lengthwise.
Remove the yolks and put them in a mixing bowl.
Mash the egg yolks with a fork.
Add the mayonnaise, rice vinegar, ground mustard,
and sugar to the mashed egg yolks and stir until well combined.
Mix in the jalapenos and bacon.
Fill each egg hole with the mixture.
Sprinkle with paprika
Chill until ready to serve.

  2. What lovely weather you are having in Texas, Betsy! Great photo of your guys at the game. Your little bistro table and chairs and cute cushions are so pretty! And the deviled eggs with the bacon look divine. I don't mind a little spice so I could add just a little jalapeno. Have a great afternoon. ♥
