A WELL-DRESSED MANTEL

What do you have on hand that you could use to tell a story on your mantel this fall?
An old photo of your ancestors? A plate, platter or bowl that has been in your family?

The sweet little deer that belonged to my Mother-In-Law

These candlesticks were from my hostess days with Southern Living at Home

  2. Mmmmmm.... Simply gorgeous...

The kinda' long little picture and mirror, on the left.... With the little Gainsborough girl in the "top" frame... I have one. It hangs horizontally. The little girl in pink, is in the left side. And "Boy In Blue" is in the right side picture slot. :-))))))

So it caught my eye, right away!

  3. Well, that is simply gorgeous. I love every single bit of it. The mirrors are so beautiful and I love the touch of a vintage photo. This is my favorite time for decorating. Deb

  6. Stunning is the word that came to mind after seeing your fall mantel. So interesting with the different elements and textures. The candle sticks are so pretty and I love how you added the potpourri under the candles.
