The Red, White and
Blue…..
Mixing It Up!
I have been so anxious to see how the July 4th tablescape was going to come together!
I don't know if you were ahead of the game, but I have found it challenging to shop for décor to reflect our Independence day! Seems like summer is on the way out and Autumn is pushing it's way to the forefront! As much as I adore fall, I would like to enjoy the summer months a little longer!
Needless to say, we had to go "on the hunt" for a few new linens and dinnerware! It all came together in the end! The seersucker tablecloth and fireworks table runner were on clearance at Kohl's!
I was thrilled with the dinnerware I found at Target....perfect colors and cute patterns to mix and match! Just as I found these, here came the darling! I was very excited and said, "look what I found...isn't this going to be precious?" He just sighed........and smiled!
I decided to use the paper napkins I saved from Memorial Day and added my DIY tag with scrapbook stickers.....that was a fun little project! Looks rather festive I think!
I adore using Mother's antique milk glass plate...very similar to the Southern Living Dress-Me-up plate. All you need to add is ribbon to reflect the holiday! This will be perfect to hold those grilled hot dogs!
I wanted to use little candies in these cute little tin pails....I selected petite Baby Ruth's, Blue Cookies and Cream Kisses and Dove White Chocolates!
Red and white drinking straws are adorable in these
glass ball jar County Fair mugs.....from Amazon!
These are going to be filled with ice cold sweet tea and lemonade with
lots of fresh lemon slices!
America.......Liberty......Go USA!
I have had this patriotic candle for many years...
the scent is amazing....Gentle Breezes!
I added a little patriotic tag to the top of the lid!
I decided to make my own cupcake toppers...just downloaded which ones I liked, glued them to scrapbook paper and glued cocktail colored toothpicks...viola'! Love them!
These are going to be so darn cute! I am using a cake mix, rather than baking cupcakes from scratch! Too much to do! I plan to be in the pool, with a cool drink in hand, listening to summer tunes and visiting with family! Rob's coming home so we are happy, happy, happy! What's news noteworthy in your world today? Thanks for visiting Estelle's! Enjoy your 4th!
Nothing that wonderful... lol.. helping a daughter move....... Hoping nobody starts any more fires out here in dry CA. Even if i was celebrating in some way i don't think i would tablescape like you. I love to see what you do but i have no desire to go to all that effort and expense just for little ol' July 4th... now give me Halloween and Christmas and i don't mind spending a few $$......... Ofcourse the kids are grown and no grandkids nearby so i guess that makes the difference. I love coming here to visit you though and see what you do. Hugs! deb

DeleteYour table looks fabulous! I waited too late to shop for July 4th themed napkins and such for my table. I will stick a couple of flags in my centerpiece and call it good! I agree that they certainly rush the seasons!
