SOUTHERN PEACH COBBLER WITH SUGAR COOKIE CRUST

Please don't let summer pass you by without making THE best peach cobbler ever!
Being a southern girl, I have made my share of peach cobblers. Trust me!
This one is at the top of our favorites list!

4 to 6 Cups fresh or frozen peaches
1/2 to 1 cup sugar
1 cup evaporated milk or half and half
17.5 oz. bag Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 t. cinnamon

Preheat oven 350 degrees F.  Lightly spray a 9" x 13" baking dish.

Arrange peaches in the bottom of prepared dish. Sprinkle sugar over the peaches.

Pour evaporated milk over the peaches and sugar.

Sprinkle sugar cookie mix over cream peach mixture.

Pour melted butter evenly over the sugar cookie mix layer. Sprinkle with cinnamon
.

Bake for 30-45 minutes or until the sugar cookie mix is golden brown!

Y’all Enjoy!

    1. Did you really Jan? How great is that? You will love this recipe. I used frozen peaches and they were divine! It was easier than peeling and slicing fresh peaches and they held their consistency very well in this recipe! It is more like a crisp rather than cobbler! My husband loved this! Enjoy!!!!
