I so hope you all enjoyed a beautiful MOTHER'S DAY!

I received THE most beautiful rose bouquet from
the youngest....always in a beautiful pink vase.
The roses are tinted the most beautiful shade of pistachio....gorgeous.

We snapped our selfie which has now become tradition
before he headed out of town on Saturday morning
for another wedding!
Seems like he has attended more weddings recently
than I have in a lifetime....joyous celebrations!
So happy to have seen him for even a brief time!!

Son number one had to fly up to Chicago for the weekend for business,
so our daughter-in-law Jenn headed west to visit her parent's for
Mother's Day.
It's always a relief that everyone makes it safely to and from
when traveling.

Now.....THIS is THE most exciting news which
I have been waiting to share with you!
Our Saturday morning delivery had arrived......

There she is....in all of her glory!
My Mr. Wonderful bought me a piano for Mother's Day!
Isn't she just beautiful!!!!!

We purchased this piano from a lovely couple
right around the corner from us.
This piano belonged to the husband's grandmother.
It is a 1951 Story and Clark piano.
We hired a professional mover who turned out to be
so experienced and knowledgeable about pianos!
He did a marvelous job during the transition and
showed us many features about the piano we were not aware of!

We had talked on and off over the last few years about
buying a piano...used, not new and this one
just seemed to be the perfect one for us and the perfect time
to buy one!

Do we play you are wondering?
I played just a bit as a child on our piano and organ
and the darling is musically inclined and also can play
"just a bit!" We do plan to learn more....it's a goal of ours!

Mae of course, just had to check out all the excitement.....

What a beautiful, beautiful day we had
here in Texas....perfect for entertaining poolside!

My precious, precious Nicholas!!
I always tell him he's my favorite!!!
(But, then I tell them all that very same thing!)
I really adore this boy!

Oh yum-oh....

My guys.....
father and son!

Our daughter-in-law....Miss Catherine....
she is the sweetest girl ever....
and...a GREAT Step-Mom!!!!

Miss Catherine and HER Mom....Miss Elizabeth

The TWO Mom's and the TWO "Elizabeth's!"

The secret to his fantastic grilled burgers!!!

Wish y'all had the "smell app" turned on...

He is one HANDSOME guy!

Dinner is served!

Our sweet ending!

What a blessed and beautiful Mother's Day weekend!
