THE INFAMOUS EARTHQUAKE CAKE

The Earthquake cake is a DELICIOUS cake.
However it is NOT a pretty dessert by any means.
The very first time I had this cake was at an office potluck
and we all raved about it!
So from time to time...the opportunity presents itself
to pull out a classic and serve up this sweet ending!

EARTHQUAKE CAKE
1 cup coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 stick of butter, softened
1 (8 ounce) package of cream cheese softened
2 cups of powdered sugar

Prepare a 13 " x 9" pan with cooking spray.
Put coconut and pecans in bottom of the baking dish.

Prepare cake mix according to the package directions.
Pour the batter over the coconut and pecans.

Mix butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar together.
Drop by dollops on top of cake batter.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 minutes.

Serve with whipped cream!
