A new kitchen look for the new year!
There is a huge trend for 2017
in decorating our homes.
Farmhouse style or what I like to refer to as
Urban Farmhouse!
We all know styles come and go
so I prefer just "touches" of a current style
if it's something I really fall in love with.
Firstly, your home design must lend itself
to that particular decor.
I like to visit someones kitchen
and
feel the warmth, the hospitality and know
what the "hub" of their family living is all about!
When I came across these darling little plates,
I thought yes....this is just the right touch
of a tablesetting I am looking for!
I found a new gray and cream
table runner for a fairly inexpensive price...
on Amazon!
The collection from
The Pioneer Woman
seems to lend itself
to many styles of decor,
with a less formal look.
I love that her water goblets come in
several colors.
I've had this little trio of vases for years,
so I chose these for the centerpiece.
Nothing over the top...less is better, I think!
I know you have seen my gingham napkins
in several table settings and I am ever
so glad I purchased these.
I use them over and over so that
proved to be a pretty good investment.
I purchased mine from Plow and Hearth.
Lots of creamy flowers..
with that lovely carnation scent.
So lacey looking and a bit informal.
I think these plates are just so sweet.
I love this look for a casual brunch......
I wanted a touch of something to pair the centerpiece with
and
when I saw these hammered bronze Salt and Pepper shakers,
I knew that would be a perfect addition.
These are from URBANFARM.
One of my favorite pillows went perfectly
with this tablesetting.
Now this just warms my heart....
the darling walked in the kitchen
and said,
"What a pretty table!"
He noticed....sigh....he actually noticed!
This is perfection. I never like a table too 'frilly'. The little plates would draw anyone to your charming table. My favorite is the little lamb. l love the trio of vases although here Audrey would quickly become a fourth.

DeleteGorgeous. All of it. I feel right at home at your farm table - because I live on a farm. No farm animals here except horses, though, so farm animal plates would be wonderful in my collection! Your gingham napkins have me thinking of a future sewing project. I love the addition of romantic flowers on your farm table! :-)
