BRIDGE LUNCHEON FROZEN FRUIT SALAD

Frances first joined the bridge club when she was ten years of age. One day when her little friends were meeting for a child's bridge luncheon and her mother was late coming home, Frances went into the kitchen and found leftover jello salad, which she cut and served to her friends with saltine crackers. Her mother was horrified when she came home to find that Frances had served inappropriate food for a bridge luncheon. In fact, she nearly fainted straight away.....

Frances has been in the same bridge club since 1952. They meet twice a month to this day. Now as the tradition with most southern bridge clubs, the ladies have a glass of wine during the last round before lunch is served. The bridge luncheon is served in the dining room, with good crystal, fine china and linens. A typical menu is frozen fruit salad, asparagus with ham, a brownie, sweet tea and coffee!

BRIDGE LUNCHEON FROZEN FRUIT SALAD
