OH, THOSE PEACH DUMPLINGS!

Let me just say.....
THESE are the BOMB-DIGGITY!

Miss M sent me this recipe and oh my, oh my, oh my!
Just four ingredients....
YUM-O!

Peach Dumplings
One roll of Crescent Rolls
One can of peach halves, in syrup
1/8 cup sugar
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 cup melted butter

Unroll the crescent rolls on a flat surface.
Drain the peaches, saving the syrup.
This will equal about 2/3 cup syrup.
Melt the 1/2 cup butter and combine with the reserved syrup.
Cut each peach half in two, then place 1/2 of the peach
onto a crescent wedge and roll up. Place in a greased 8" x 8" baking dish.

Sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon.

Pour the melted butter/peach syrup over all.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 25 minutes!

This sweet ending is So easy and bakes up
to a prefect golden brown with a divine buttery sauce!

Of course, it simply is not complete
with a scoop of Blue Bell!

Y'all are going to LOVE this one!

  2. Oh my goodness. I love this, the easiness of it and the way it looks. My mom used to make peaches and dumplings( just about her only desserts). She would use canned peaches and cut up pop open biscuits...always good but I have to say not this pretty. LOL. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
