Time out....
I need a break from politics....
we voted early and I am thrilled to do so.
However....
between Fox, CNN and Facebook...
I am in political strife overload!
I need some biscuits......
and a good Elizabeth Taylor movie......
Estelle's Hot 7-Up Biscuits
4 cups Pioneer Baking Mix
1 cup sour cream
1 cup 7-up
1 stick melted butter
Mix Pioneer Baking Mix, sour cream, 7-up and melted butter
in a mixing bowl.
Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface and pat gently.
Cut with a biscuit cutter and place each biscuit
into a greased 9 " x 13" baking dish.
Bake at 400 degrees F. for 15 minutes.
Turn off the news.....and enjoy your biscuits!
Oh, yummy! I wish I had one of those yummy looking biscuits! They don't sell Pioneer flour, corn meal or anything up here. I guess San Antonio is just too far! I could make a meal on biscuits and butter. And a little jam! ;)
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
