EASTER BARGINS!

Just when you think your tablescape is complete,
you can come across something that just makes it perfect!
In this case, how about three little lambs and a lavender bunny!

It was the last little set they had and into my basket they went!
I have been on the lookout for tiny sheep and would you believe it made my day!

As I was checking out, the nice young girl scanning my groceries,
lifted up the box and exclaimed how cute they were!
This began a conversation of Easter dinner and Easter baskets..etc.....

This little package of sheep was on clearance for $2.99!

The stars must have been in alignment, as this was also the
last lavender bunny dish they had in stock.
The lovely dish above was a gift to my father from on of his patients.
I have so loved this heirloom for many years.
Isn't he just perfect beside the lilacs! The bunny dish was $1.99!

When I was posting about The Swan House yesterday, I thought I might find one of their cookbooks! And lo and behold, I found one used on Amazon for $3.99! I had never ordered a "used book" from Amazon before, but it stated it was in "good condition", so I thought I might like to have a cookbook which was actually owned by someone else who enjoyed this historical tea room!

I just had a feeling........this made me so happy, yet a tad bit sad....
it had been a Mother's Day gift for someone....well, it's in good hands now!
I really kind of like the idea of used books!

I love bargain shopping!

  6. What a sweet collection! They are all so cute, but I think that little lavender bunny dish is my favourite. Just like you, I love used books, especially if they have a dedication inside. I like to think that they have been successfully re-homed!

  7. The lambs caught my eye right away; the builder of our home in Massachusetts (years ago) raised sheep and I have quite a fondness for them. A great display of Easter on your beautiful table, dear friend, XOXO
