Creamy Nutella Pudding...Just Like a Warm Hug!

What One Loves in Childhood,
Stays in the Heart Forever!

"Let us put our minds together and see what
kind of life we can make for our children!"
~Sitting Bull

When someone cooks for us, it's such a nurturing act and demonstration of love. They are feeding the relationship, taking the time to do prepare something special and harvesting a wealth of love. What little one would not be delighted with a homemade treat when they arrive home from school?

 Creamy Chocolate Nutella Pudding
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
3 T. cornstarch
A pinch salt
2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup Nutella
1/2 t. vanillla

In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt. Stir in about a cup of the milk and whisk until the mixture is smooth and well blended, then whisk in the remaining milk. Set the pan over medium heat and cook, whisking constantly, for about 5 minutes or until the mixture bubbles and thickens. Continue to cook the pudding for another minute.

Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the Nutella and vanilla. Allow this to sit for a few minutes to let the chocolate melt, and stir it until it’s smooth.

Divide the pudding between 4-6 small bowls. Let it cool for about 20 minutes and serve it warm! Now that's like getting hugs and kisses from a loving grandma!
