Wedding Blessings...December...Crimson, Cream and Pine!

Your Inspiration...Baby It's Cold Outside.....

Turquoise is the December birthstone which symbolizes open communication and clarity of thought.

Narcissus and Holly are the December Flowers which  symbolizes rebirth and new beginnings.

Winter weddings hold their own unique beauty that many often overlook. Imagine, if you will, a crackling fireplace draped with holly or fresh greens from a pine or spruce tree. Winters are cozy and romantic, the perfect setting for a wedding. When we think of winter, we often think of snuggling close with a loved one and the timeless and classic beauty of nature. Winter is the perfect time for a wedding, and there are a limitless array of possibilities for the winter wedding.

Now I am going to become non-traditional for December as far as the birthstone. December, to me, welcomes a warm, comforting and rich color celebrating the season.

As I stated in an earlier blog, I am not a fan of primary colors....so we are going to deviate somewhat and the colors I have chosen for our December wedding are Crimson.....cream and pine! Oh...the loveliness of it all!

Many party favors are personalized with the name of the wedded couple and the date of the wedding. You can make your wedding favors extra special by attaching small Christmas quotations to each favor.

You can be decorative and place the quotes on parchment. You can roll up the parchment with the Christmas quotes on them and tie them off with a beautiful ribbon or you can seal them with a wax seal. You can then easily attach them to the party favors you have chosen.

The earth has grown old with its burden of care but at Christmas it is always young, the heart of the jewel burns lustrous and fair and its soul full of music breaks the air, when the song of angels is sung.
