Good Morning Kindred Spirits....
This was the view from my window this early morning in October...
how glorious and simply magical.....
I like to begin the morning with a cup of coffee and candlelight...
along with quiet meditation

These are the days of the autumn season...
there is nothing that so beautifully graces the table
than fresh pears...a statement of fall.....
I made stewed apples in the crockpot which
were laced with butter and cinnamon....

A glimpse into your Autumn days... how nice this post was!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't have a fire - sad to say. But we did sleep with the attic fan on. Those 'Tea Cakes' are traditional for my Bell grands and I am already planning a large Christmas Tea for the Bells and their cousins. These tea cakes are a MUST!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post, Betsy. First, that glorious sunrise! You know, pears used to by my favorite fruit growing up, until cherries took over. ; ) What a pretty picture of your cat looking out the window with curiosity. Love that reindeer you got from Walmart. I will look around for those Christmas cakes. That is definitely an old fashioned Santa on the cover. And that last photo of the fire, the blanket, and the lit up pumpkin is magical. I enjoyed this post very much.
