CREATING A FRENCH COUNTRY EASTER DESSERT TABLE

Spring green is the most welcoming color of the season...
those spring rains make for a beautiful bluebonnet season
and these type of days certainly put you in the mood
to decorate your home for Easter!

This adorable little wooden sign says it all doesn't it?

Do you love deciding on a theme for your holiday tablesetting?
I think Easter just lends itself beautifully to a casual
cottage style setting full of BLOOMS with a touch of whimsy!
This is going to be the sweet treats table for our Easter gathering this year!

The first step in creating a tablescape, is deciding
on the linens.
My favorite flower is the hydrangea and my favorite color is pink,
so I chose this beautiful Waverly tablecloth which I thought
would be just perfect for the French Country look I was going for.

I chose this beautiful woven round basket tray to serve as the centerpiece.

I found this sweet little Farmhouse white candle
with the lovely light country scent of Crisp Apple!

This is a lovely, light scent of apple which
makes the kitchen fragrant for the evening cocktail hour.

I paired the candle with a Pioneer Woman glass jar, white florals
and this precious little bunny duo!

Then I just needed a bit of spring color, so I chose to add
this lovely bouquet of tulips....

How sweet is that?

I thought these Mary Lake Thompson paper napkins would be
adorable for this tablesetting!

These are three beautiful decoupaged Easter eggs
which are reflecting the beautiful blooms that come to us in Spring......

These are a fun DIY project that you can share with the Little's....
faux eggs, paper napkins and Mod Podge.
I also enhanced the glass bowl using straw filler.

I displayed these gorgeous fresh apples in my Mother-in-law's
glass pedestal bowl...I simply love using this heirloom piece!

How about a pitcher of pink lemonade?
It's refreshing....it's pink...and....it's lemonade!!!
How perfect for spring and summer!

For many special occasions, I love picking
up grocery mini-cupcakes..
they are delicious and so easy to serve your guests.

These are the perfect bite-sized sweet ending!

The star of this dessert table is a No-Bake Cheesecake
with fresh berries......

I believe we are going to so enjoy this light and springy
Easter buffet.....

I hope you gathered some inspiration from this fun little post
which I enjoyed sharing with each of you!

From our family to yours....
wishing you a very blessed and HAPPY EASTER DAY!

  6. This is just what I needed! I was thinking of setting up a separate dessert table for our Easter dinner and you have shown how to make it special. I will be babysitting our two young grandchildren one day this week, so I will wait until after that day (of course!) and start setting out and arranging to get a pretty display. It is so fun to use heirloom pieces on special days.
