MANGO FRUIT TEA FOR THE FOURTH OF JULY

Estelle's wishes everyone a
VERY HAPPY AND SAFE JULY 4TH, 2017.

We proudly salute the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

As the holiday falls on Tuesday this year,
we did a little celebration during the past weekend.
Swimming, burgers and this fantastic
Mango Fruit Iced Tea.
This is an old favorite from Southern Living
that Mother used to make for special occasions.
We just love it and hope y'all will too.

MANGO FRUIT TEA
10 mango or tropical fruit flavored tea bags
4 cups water
1/3 cup sugar
2 cups pineapple juice
1 cup orange juice
1 cup store-bought sweetened lemonade
1 cup fresh mangoes, chopped
1 cup strawberries, chopped

Pour the water into a large stockpot and bring it to a boil. Turn off the heat and add the tea bags. Let the bags steep for 10 minutes and then remove them. Do not squeeze. Stir in the sugar until dissolved. Pour the mixture into a large pitcher and chill for 2 hours.

Pour the cooled tea into another pitcher, add the orange and pineapple juice, as well as the lemonade, and put the mixture back into the refrigerator until serving time.

When you're ready for the tea, pour the tea mixture into a large pitcher or punch bowl and add ice cubes, fresh mango slices and fresh strawberries. Serve immediately.

Greg's burgers with corn on the cob, baked beans,
tomato cucumber salad....yum-OH.

Then, I thought about making sugar cookies
with sprinkles of course.....

America the beautiful................

Beautifully festive. Glad that you have been celebrating early. (We've had a working weekend and tomorrow as well.)

Definitely pinning the tea punch recipe. Always looking for beverage ideas.
