ESTELLE'S SUMMER BLOOMS

Good Morning Loves....
hope your week is going well.
It's always a good day
when you can see the sunrise.....
Y'all come in and take a little tour
of the yard and see what's blooming this June....

FLAG DAY 2017

I have planted Marigolds from seeds
for as long as I can remember....
I JUST LOVE THEM.

All of these blooms from a packet of seeds....
marvelous....

I always like to have something blooming
around Daddy's angel.....

The hibiscus are just blooming away...
they must love this location of
filtered sunlight....

I was so happy to see a bloom coming
from the Zinnia seeds I planted...
this was recommended by Stacey from
POOFING THE PILLOWS.

I planted new HENS AND CHICKS succulents
in my little Zen garden...one of my favorite little spots

This is the hibiscus which sits in full sunlight
by the pool patio

We planted three Butterfly Bushes in whiskey barrels
last year, and they are doing beautifully this year.

This bloom is from the ENDLESS SUMMER DAYLILY
collection from COTTAGE FARMS.

The bunnies have been problematic this season
in chewing all our daylily's...
these bloomed just this week...gorgeous....

Pretty in PINK

Isn't summer just a happy season......

  1. Yes, summer is a happy season and I enjoyed seeing what's blooming at your place. I never have that kind of good luck with marigolds from seeds, but I have been meaning to plant some in my raised bed as they are hardy and forgiving.

  4. I've always felt zinnias are underappreciated. I moved last month and you've confirmed I now have a butterfly bush out front!

  5. It is looking like summer there. I loved those marigolds...and have learned a good lesson...the rabbits ate many of my petunias and left the marigolds. So next year, I am planting many more of them. I love butterfly bushes...used to have two in town...but have not planted any here. Blessings for a fun filled weekend, xoxo, Susie

  6. Lovely flowers! Well done growing some from seeds. Perhaps my growing season is just a bit too short, but I've not had great luck doing that. Your flamingo floaties are fun! -Jenn
