SMALL WAYS TO MAKE VALENTINES DAY A LITTLE SWEETER

It is said to be the most romantic day of the year.
A day to remember and celebrate your sweetheart.
I like to think of this as "Sweet Hearts!"
It may be fun to celebrate this day even if it's just you...
why not make your space, a pretty space!

These are some fun inspirational ideas that you
may wish to use for your Valentines Day!

I LOVE glass...anything glass....beautiful glass.....
This is the day, I gather anything I own that is PINK
and
heirloom glassware that will be used to hold sweet treats!

Strawberry pink heart marshmallows....

just add chocolate.....

Strawberries and Cream chocolates
in grandmother's glass candy dish!

Hershey Kisses.....
Show off those sweet little bon bon bowls with pink doilies!

What a beautiful way to enjoy a cup of morning coffee.....

Tea Towels that say...
I love you!

Heart shaped cakes......darling.......

Who doesn't love Conversation Hearts......

Freshly baked Chocolate Chip Cookies
with Valentines M & M's!
What a sweet little treat to give to a friend!

Who isn't happy when eating M & M's?

I confess that I totally have a napkin obsession...
I love pretty napkins and I chose this pattern from Caspari
that will add that perfect touch of  prettiness to the tablescape!

The darling loves a hot flaky croissant
slathered with butter and strawberry jam....
a sweet way to say..."I love you!"

I so hope you found something that
inspires you to make this day
a little bit special for the ones you love!

Our sweet girl...
Happy Valentine's Day loves!

  1. Such a beautiful gathering of Valentine ideas... I am enjoying what my blogging friends are doing and taking it easy on Valentine decor this year, though I may have to sneak in some pink M&Ms.

  2. Betsy - How lovely everything looks! Even though you mentioned you studied interior design in college, I do believe you have a natural talent for making everything you touch look so pretty. Before you retired, did you work as an interior designer? Also, how is Mae doing? She is such a sweet little kitty!

    1. Why thank you Connie! Just little things to make your space a bit pretty for the day! No I worked as a Medical Practice Manager for over 30 years! My dad was a physician so it ran in our family! Mae has been seizure free as of December 11th. Thankfully our prayers have been heard and answered so far! One pill per day! Hope you enjoy a lovely weekend! Hugs to you!

  7. Such cute ideas! We've mostly celebrated as a family over the years rather than for a day of romance, so I think most of your ideas would be perfect for friends, kids, or anybody to celebrate!
