ROMANCING THE MASTER BEDROOM

When we moved back to Texas from Maine,
we were blessed with finding the perfect location
and the perfect home which we fell in love with!
I love, love, love our home!
These are a few snippets of changing things up
a bit in the Master!
I especially love the custom drapes!

The sitting area in the Master is simply a beautiful feature!
We have a lovely view of our pool area!

There seemed to be a place for everything..
this is where I chose to place the lowboy.

I chose colors that are a soft blue
mixed with sage.

This antique chest of drawers
belonged to the darlings parents.
I remember when my mother- in -law
bought this when antiquing in the Delta one weekend.

I adore key tassels.....
there is one on every skelton key
on the china cabinests.

I think they add a perfect touch of elegance.

The cherub belonged to Mother
and
graced her dining room sideboard for years...
I absolutely love it!

The Laura Ashely quilt was chosen.....
I love Masters that are soft, soothing and romantic.....
a calming effect away from the world.....

We must have similar taste. :D I have the key tassels, too; I think it must be a southern thing, don't you? Your master bedroom changes turned out lovely; I know you'll enjoy them. Have a wonderful day!

  6. A very attractive, restful room with its pale blues and sage. Is that little girl with bangs your sweet self? I think the lovely bride is your daughter.
