FEBRUARY FAVORITES AND A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Good Morning from the
Great State of Texas!
Honey.....we are loving this "spring-like" weather!
It makes one think of Spring and the gardens!
I always love seeing what everyone is loving these days,
so here are a few February favorites at Estelle's!

Have your tried the Apple Pecan Chicken Salad at Wendy's?
If not....go get one today!!!!
It is MARVELOUS!!!
Fresh and healthy....This is a huge lunch treat for me
when we are out and about on Saturdays running errands!
This comes with a Pomegranate dressing which is so light
and refreshing! Y'all are gonna love this one!
Estelle's Tip~ I order the side portion...
it's plenty and the right portion control!
If you are super hungry or want to share with the one you love,
order the full size!

My sister is probably the only person on earth left
with her tried and true Mr. Coffee maker!
However, for those of you with a Keurig,
what is your favorite coffee flavor?
Ours is the Nantucket Blend....just right...
a medium roast coffee that is a little more flavorful
than Breakfast Blend, but not as bitter as Starbucks!

Baby, oh Baby....
Lindt Caramel with Sea Salt truffles.....
I'm telling you....
you may want to buy more than one!

Now....if you simply must used canned frosting....
the Rainbow Chip is PRETTY DARN GOOD!

Not the Funfetti....but THE RAINBOW CHIP!

I love Lavender anything....
I bought this new fragrance for The Divine Miss M
when she visits us this month!
We both treat each other to new beauty
products when we visit!
A fun little touch of pampering in
the guest bathroom......

This Gel nail polish from Sally Hansen
is a favorite new shade and
is a gorgeous look for a new manicure....
It's shade 229, Creme De la Creme!

So...onto the family Birthday for February!

Our sweet and beautiful granddaughter, Miss Abbie...
turned 17 this week!
Lord have mercy....time is flying by.....

I have never seen a sweeter, more loving girl
than this one!

We are all gathering in Fort Worth on Saturday
for a big birthday soiree!

I know all of my friends up North
are going to be a little envious of this......

Just imagine relaxing on their gorgeous patio
sipping on a slushy margarita.....

It is going to be a perfect 80 degrees.....

We have had many a celebration at this beautiful place....
I am SO EXCITED!
To think we have one more year with her
before she's off to college....

I hope y'all are having a great day!
I certainly am glad you stopped by Estelle's today!
Warm Texas Hugs!

  2. What day is Abbie's birthday? My older daughter's birthday was on Tuesday, February 7. She turned 32! Where does the time go??!! Enjoy sweet Abbie's birthday celebration on Saturday. What a beautiful venue for a celebration! It was 87 degrees here in the Houston area yesterday, so today's high temp of 71 will feel much more welcome to me.

there are SIX mr coffees lined up ready for action! There are usually at least 10 men here all the time!
You're so right about our warm weather! Yesterday I got to see at least 1000 snow geese on the pond...beautiful!! They are migrating and we're resting here for awhile. Will post pics later today...

I like how you described your favorite coffee. I want a robust flavor but not bitter..I have yet to have a Keurig cup here that I love. I love truffles too. 8. Happy Birthday to your beautiful granddaughter; our's had her birthday on the 5th with a Princess theme! I'm not a coffee drinker, but hubby sure likes his in the morning, but he has a Nespresso and makes vanilla Lattes! It's chilly today, but no snow and I have a daffodil blooming! This weekend will be in the 70s and I'm going to feel so bad for my family and friends who just got dumped on from Niko. Enjoy your weekend (I'm making Chocolate Eclairs today!) XOXO
