HAPPY BIRTHDAY.....BATTER UP!!!!!

They say
"IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY........"

CELEBRATE

We actually had three days of celebrating
The Duke's 8th birthday...

beginning with dinner at this
family owned Italian restaurant in Alpharetta,
Casa Nuova!

There must have been many people celebrating
Father's Day as the restaurant was busy. busy...
plus it was Saturday night!

We enjoyed a special dinner for this cutie patootie!

Oh my.....a special complimentary dessert...
Panna Cotta with caramel sauce
and
fresh blueberries!

There were fresh sunflowers on every table
which are grown by the owner...
she wrapped up each bouquet and sent them
home with every couple!
Now...THAT'S a special touch of love and appreciation!

Monday was THE actual birthday!
It is customary to wake up Luke with a birthday cupcake and balloons!
Not only a Star Wars cupcake, but a beautiful custom cake too!!!

Some of the little boy themes are just not very cute...
however...
when we saw all the Atlanta Braves decor...we knew that would
be something he would love!
Miss M selected little party favors of cups,
Big League bubblegum, Cracker Jacks, paddle balls
and
baseball punching balloons...
this was So fun to put together!

"What did you do Maine Grandma???"
Uh-Oh.....As I was moving the cake off of the dining table,
to place back in the bakery box until dinner...
I accidentally put a big dent in the frosting......
Miss M did not mind a bit....
however, I was a tad upset that I was the culprit!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU......

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR LUKA......

What did you wish for?

Time for "boy time"....
the games were just beginning.......
Partners in crime...these two......

He is special......very special....
Love you Luke.....
I hope your 8th year is the greatest ever!

YOU IS KIND
YOU IS SMART
YOU IS IMPORTANT!

  3. What a great Birthday celebration! Each and every part of it. I'm sure the Birthday Boy enjoyed everything.

He is always such a happy and smiling boy. Lovely...

And so nice that he has a special pal.

Oh my, we do make our little mistakes now and then, don't we? But I'm sure you do way too much, for your family, for a little frosting dent, to matter. :-)))))

    Gentle hugs,
    Tessa
