STRAWBERRY-PINEAPPLE SALAD

Miss Judy attended a casual late afternoon
gathering at her friend's Jean lovely patio home down in
Pensacola last week.

Jean does much of her own decorating
and has a lovely little garden in the backyard.
She is an extremely social person and loves
to host intimate dinners or wine tasting parties
for friends and family!
She is a very elegant hostess!

It's always expected that people migrate
and
seem to love hanging out in the kitchen
just enjoying a glass of wine, talking and laughing,
while catching up with each other's lives.

 Jean offered fresh turkey wraps
and a variety of wines, cheeses and crackers.

It was my suggestion that Miss Judy take along
this most requested Strawberry-Pineapple Salad.
It can either be served as a salad or dessert.
It's light, fresh tasting and oh so good!

1 package of frozen organic pineapple chunks, drained
1 large carton of cottage cheese
1 small package of strawberry jello
1 container of cool whip

Mix all ingredients together and chill.

Serve in a pretty crystal bowl
and
top with fresh strawberries.

Everyone loves this and always requests the recipe!
It's a southern favorite!

  1. Looks delicious, and her home looks lovely...

Do I feel a certain thinking-towards-Spring vibe here??? The banner pictures are not all wintery, any more. :-) Yes, you are certainly looking to warmer weather again.

Of course, you are south, and it would feel this way. Up north here, we are into a very, very cold spell. Seasonal of course. But a *surprise* after all the too warm weather, we have been having. The wind is blowing, outside my window, as I type! ,-)

But that's just life up north. As you well know.

    Gentle hugs...
