THE COMPANY'S GONE....THE LEFTOVERS

The last time I looked at the calender...it's the last day of November, 2015.
Why oh why.....are the Christmas lights up in some houses?
We are finishing up the leftovers...with....
The Thanksgiving sandwiches.....

Poor Robbie.....
the remaining remnants of our Thanksgiving dinner....
but....still so thankful he flew home for a day!

The last of Miss M's pumpkin pie...
she never even had a bite....
it was SO GOOD!

At least it's all been located into one room for packing away
until next year.....

Mae Mae....
it's back to you and me....

Charlie Brown Christmas comes on tonight...
now the season can begin!
Feeling very blessed for a lovely November,
a very Happy Thanksgiving...
thankful for health and family...
and
missing Mother and Daddy....
still......

  2. Lovely post. That sandwich looks so yum. Yes, the month just flew and yesterday we hung lights and wreaths at the mouse house. It is starting to look like Christmas here. :) "Hi Mae".

  3. Put the kettle on, I'll be over directly. We can talk about the lovely memories of Thanksgiving...the golden light, the brown transferware, the cozy qualities that are Thanksgiving's alone. How empty the house feels after the last darling has left. Good thing Mae is there with you. Why are the lights on? Perhaps because we can dispatch the sadness and remind ourselves why He came. I'll be back later in the week to see how the packing of Thanksgiving is going and the unpacking of Christmas. (Packing away the photos was the worst for me this morning.) Have a blessed day...

I YEARN in my spirit for that very first day of September and on the last day of November - as I put it all away - I celebrate!!! Every fall is a GOOD one!
