HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US....AND THE PREPARATION CONTINUES!

Date night...
well, perhaps it was a bit more than that......
our 43rd Anniversary to be exact!

Mr. Wonderful and I celebrated our wedding anniversary on
November 18th!
What a perfect romantic restaurant he chose!

Now you know how tacky it is to see someone taking a selfie....again....
"Why do you do selfies when neither one of us ends up in the picture?"

To record the occasion.

Have you started your grocery list and checked it twice?
I find it easier to break it down into stages....or a period of days if you will....
canned goods....wine....then produce and meats.......
Don't you love it when the kitchen is stocked full of holiday foods?

The dining room is ready.....
The china and crystal are washed and dried..
the silver has been polished

and
the centerpiece has been chosen.

The pheasants are my all time favorite I think.....

Getting the wine bar ready......

Hot Apple Cider.....
ready for the grandchildren.....

"Please tell me there are no dogs coming......."

How are your plans coming along....
let us be grateful for our day of Thanksgiving!
Peace everyone!

  2. A very Happy Anniversary to you both!!!!!!

Our 57th was on Nov. 8th.

Family Thanksgiving dinner here, is now at one son's house. This year, gathering and dinner will be for 7 adults, 3 teens, 2 small boys, a cat, a black Lab, and a 75+ pound Swiss Mountain Dog. He is already figuring it will be a bit of may-hem. -grin-

I may bring my own bottle of 'bubbly' and nurse it... Only share a bit, because other drinkers can drink whatever they want to. Where I only want something rather sweet.

    :-)))))))

  6. Happy Anniversary to you both! My husband and I celebrated our 29th on the 19th. We had our just married son and his beautiful bride over for, of all things, hamburgers and hotdogs. We all loved it. We had just lost out 5 1/2 year old kitty the day before and didn't really feel like going out. It was just what the family needed. Looking forward to a happy 30th!
