I could no longer wait....
this is August 16th and I simply
had to change the farmhouse table
as the month of September approaches.
Before the house is brimming with cinnamon oranges
and the deep colors of eggplant and warm rusts....
we surround ourselves with the warmth and happiness of
SUNFLOWERS
I add small little accents of old favorites
We can almost imagine that gorgeous farm field
covered with sunflowers amid an old barn in the background.
Aren't you ready for the days to get shorter and the air to
usher in those cool Autumn winds?
Soon, the tantalizing scent of sugared cinnamon will
waft throughout the halls.
I love sunflowers mixed with pumpkins and scarecrows,
don't you?
We are capturing those last rays of late-summer warmth....
inspired by nature.
I think it somehow brings vibrancy to the dinnertime gatherings.
Don't forget to light the candles....
I simply just can't resist it...
every year, I have to sneak in a pumpkin before October....
just my nature!
Style it your way......
Love the new Autumn Look here, on your blog!

Yes, sunflowers. Yes, a wee pumpkin. And most of all, yes to beautiful Miss Mae. She is always the crowning touch to any decor style.
