COUNTRY APPLE BISCUITS

Have you been having a fantastic time in the grocery store lately? Oh, yes, Cool Whip.....you so got the name right....Season's Delight! There are so many tempting products out just for the holiday season....Honey Crisp apples from Costco, pumpkin and orange cinnamon rolls, Carrot Cake cookies and french vanilla whipped topping just to name a few! Happy our are days!

I wanted to think of a new and different twist on breakfast which would feature these gorgeous apples that would be good to serve for the upcoming holidays! I love making homemade applesauce and fried apples! I thought of perhaps trying this poured over hot biscuits which the darling loves for breakfast! To my delight, it turned out to be really good! So here is my version of Country Apple Biscuits!

Stir gently while apples simmer in that delicious cinnamon sugar mixture
 for about 15-20 minutes

Place four frozen biscuits into a cast iron pan
Pour the diced cooked apples over the biscuits

Spread evenly over the biscuits

Sprinkle mixture with a tiny bit of brown sugar

Drizzle with a nutmeg and vanilla glaze
