Melt My Buttah' Cake!

An October Weekend...Autumn Arrived!

How was your weekend? Did you do something fun? Did you bake something yummy? We had a marvelous fall weekend. That cold air arrived in Texas and it was the most wonderful autumn day on Saturday. Darling played a round of golf in the early morning, which allowed me to catch up with the Atlanta family, the Pensacola family and the Texas gang. I love these long chats each Saturday morning. Then it was an afternoon of errands and a quick trip to the grocery. The roast in the crock pot filled the house with comfort food aromas and our favorite college football teams played out on the television! I tried this new butter cake recipe which you simply must try! It's the kind of recipe I love.....easy to prepare, bakes up beautifully and tastes like...well....they will ask for seconds!

Just look at that creamy cocoa frosting! Darling came along and dipped his finger along the side...
.just couldn't help himself! Yum!
