Christmas is coming...it's cold and winter weather is upon us.....
I'll put the kettle on and we will share a cup of spiced tea...
y'all come in and enjoy a little home tour at Estelle's...
There was a magical moment at Christmas one year...
my sister and her husband were living in Pensacola
and the darling and I were living in Tampa,
so we both drove home for Christmas at my parents
in Jackson, Mississippi..
we had driven all day and arrived home about
early evening...
we were so very happy to be home and we wanted to
make our greeting a bit joyful...
we rang the front door bell and my darling daddy
opened to door as we begin to all sing....
"We wish you a Merry Christmas".......
and sang the entire carol to Mother and Daddy..
I can remember how much they loved that....
we all laughed and hugged.....
we were HOME....
The house was warm and toasty..
mother had made dinner and the
decorations were twinkling...
it was a moment in time..
never to be forgotten...
I thought it would be fun to share a few vignettes around
the house for 2024....hope you enjoy the tour....

for the entire winter season..I know Miss Lucy certainly does....
