A SMOKY SPRING BREAK!

Where in the world is Luke the Duke?

What a great idea for a school spring break!
This is a place where we took many vacations
growing up!
So much to see and do!

What an absolutely charming little chapel!

Hmmm.....a day of rides and fun!

Beautiful horses, train rides, flowers everywhere.....
What's his name Luke?

Waiting for The Dolly Dixie Stampede!
You guessed it....
Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee!

The last day was reserved for a lazy morning
with a late breakfast.
Then it was on to a hike up Grotto Falls.

Luke said this was THE BEST DAY EVER!
He kept commenting on how BEAUTIFUL everything was!
Now how great is that for a seven year old!
They had a picnic by the mountain stream and of course,
he just HAD to end up in the water!
This brings back SO many memories of our trips to
The Smokies!
Family vacations are simply the best...
lifetime memories of good times!

Miss Piper Rose looks like she is
living in the moment and just
enjoying being a dog on this beautiful April day!
Piper went to doggie boarding for the time being!
I know she will be over the moon happy
when "her people" come home!
