THE DALLAS ARTS DISTRICT...and A FOOD TRUCK CRAWL

There is about a five acre green space in Dallas that connects the Uptown neighborhood with the Dallas Arts District and downtown. We took a bright, sunny and fairly warm Saturday afternoon and visited Klyde Warren Park. What a marvelous, marvelous day it was!

I think everyone had cabin fever after our week of winter weather. People, babies, dogs and balloons were everywhere. There are upscale restaurants in which to dine, relax and have cocktails while relaxing and enjoying all views of the park.

Klyde Warren Park is a must see when you visit Dallas.
It is surrounded by downtown high rises and all the cultural art museums.

Food trucks are lining the streets ready to serve up some fabulous food!

There are areas to relax, read, listen to street music and feed the pigeons!

We decided to check out all the truck offerings before deciding on lunch.

This connects the entire acreage of the park.

Bo received alot of attention....pats on the head frequently...

Oh the aroma....how about a Philly Cheesesteak?

Typical little boys...standing right in the middle of water puddles!

This street is lined with huge gorgeous magnolia's and more delicious food trucks!

They rotate the trucks from time to time
so everyone gets to partake in such a
great business spot!

Burritos! Now we're talkin'!

OK...Cajun! Put the brakes on........

A crawfish Pistollet!

Gumbo and Red Beans and Rice!
Divine I tell you!
Two thumbs up!

Next up....
Gourmet Tacos!
These were incredible!

Was it THE best grilled cheese...
We all think so!
Pulled chicken, melted jack cheese and homemade pesto!
This was INCREDIBLE!

Great advertising!

"I'm Bo! "What's your name?"

Checking out the fountains.....

This little guy kept us entertained for hours in the dog park!

It was so interesting to see how dogs interact when they are complete strangers to each other.
They seem to be interested in spurts of water more than they are each other.
What a fantastic afternoon to soak in some Vitamin D!
