THE ESSENCE OF LUXURY....WHAT'S ON YOUR WISH LIST?

Enrich your life and environment with the essence of
luxury, sophistication and beauty through fragrance!

Have you ever had someone pass by you, only to stop and turn around and ask,
"What are you wearing? You smell divine!"
Doesn't that just make your day, that others are drawn to you because of your perfume!
How many times, have I been having "girl talk" with Miss M and my daughters-in-law, when the question of fragrance comes up. We all say, "I need a new perfume!"

Allow me to share my new found love of fragrance!
It's posh, sophisticated and luxurious!

There are numerous reasons why people wear perfumes, but ultimately it boils down to the fact that they make us feel happy. Fragrances can take us to a place of calm and serenity. They can rejuvenate our minds and energize our senses. When we surround ourselves with a fragrance we like, we are in essence, placing ourselves in a protective bubble that minimizes the stress of everyday. We are instantly comfortable. Lastly, and maybe even the biggest reason we wear fragrances, is to show off our individuality.

I have been "wild about Harry" (Slatkin that is) for years!
And now, his wife and the love of his life, Laura Slatkin,
brings to us an irresistible fragrance,
in addition to her line of luxury candles from NEST!
You can read about NEST products here!

Fragrance scents are such a personal choice for all of us.
I know there are times of the day, that call for different scents,
be it an uplifting, fresh fragrance in the morning,
a business luncheon or
an evening of Little Theater and
dinner at Ruth's Chris with your husband or significant other!

Laura's NEST fragrance collection was inspired by the artworks of 18th century British artist, Mary Delany. Laura translated these stunning works of art into her luxury fragrances by meticulously capturing the essence of these botanicals which adorn the packaging! What's not to love? These are a few of the scents offered by NEST.

Midnight Fleur
Exotic woods, patchouli and black amber are blended with sensual notes of
night-blooming jasmine and vanilla orchid.

Passiflora
Water hyacinth and lily of the valley are infused with an overdose of lush green notes.

Amazon Lily
Amazon lilies are combined with lime, tangerine, driftwood and musk.

And so.....in the spirit of Christmas, we just may ask....
Hello......Santa Baby.....

  2. Dear Estelle...everything about you and your beautiful home is pure elegance...even your sweetness to WS. I love your beautiful dressing area with the OUTSTANDING mirror...the perfumes sound elegant....why, even your name is elegant...:)
Not one thing around Sweet Nothings has one single bit of elegance so I must get "my fix" by browsing your blog...which, by the way, is ELEGANT.

  3. No, but then I don't imagine that White Linen is such a big thing these days nor Egyptian Goddess. ☺

    1. I adore White Linen Vee. When I was dreaming of opening my own bistro, named Estelle's, one of the dining rooms was going to be entitled, White Linen! Yes, I still wear it in summer! Hold onto it! Everyone has a signature fragrance, but how marvelous to try something new! These scents are divine!!!
