FUDGE MUFFINS...MAKING SOMETHING MAGICAL

The Essence of Style

Do you try out different looks before deciding on your Thanksgiving holiday tablescape?
I find this a helpful approach as to how I want the table to look, the decor items I am going to use to fashion the centerpiece, along with the accent pieces. I am undecided on the colors and the centerpiece. I am trying out ivory candles as opposed to colored ones. The details enhance the look and feel of the dining experience. Do you take notice how delicious the food tastes when using fine china and sterling silver? I do know I want to charm the family and guests.....after all, it's only one day out of the year! It should be magical!

These are my special "go-to" recipe for the darling's Fudge Muffins! They are favorites of ours from Ole Miss days! I have these on hand when we have a house full of guests and they will be included for the upcoming holidays! They are also perfect for tailgating!

FUDGE MUFFINS
2 sticks of butter
6 T. cocoa
1 3/4 cup sugar
1/8 t. salt
1 cup flour
4 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the cocoa, add the sugar, salt and flour. Beat well with a spoon. Stir in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla and walnuts. Divide batter equally in greased muffin tins. Bake 20 minutes.

"hmmmmm......there's that wreath I love to sit in. I'll just bet if  walk over there and sit down, right in the middle of the wreath, she will run and get her camera to take my picture. She gets all silly and tells me how pretty I am when I do something unexpected! See! What did I tell you? So predictable......
