FRENCH APPLE CAKE AND SPRING STYLE IN THE BEDROOM

Good morning Loves...
I do hope this finds each of you well and happy!
The weather has been glorious here in the great state of Texas,
so it's the perfect time to lighten up the living spaces.

I love changing the bed linens and quilts in the bedrooms
and placing little seasonal touches throughout our home.
I started in one of our upstairs bedrooms by combining three
different quilts in shades of a soft mint green.

Then I exchanged one of the throw pillows which is normally
kept in a different bedroom....I vowed to not to purchase new
décor but wanted to use the things I already have....sort of shopping
my house...retirement you know!

Even though little bed trays are not practical when you have
actual guests, they are fun to design...a chance to display
some of your favorite pieces...such as this beautiful toile teapot!

And....a good opportunity to use my milk glass pitcher...
I have a few pieces of milk glass and just love them!
I am going to change this bedroom for the summer months
using soft blues with a touch of yellow..really looking forward to this one!

FOOD FARE
French Apple Cake

This is a feathery light apple cake sweetened
with just a dusting of powdered sugar......
perfect for a small gathering or with
coffee or tea in the late afternoon!
