I have finally returned to dining out...and what a lovely experience it proved to be!
When the love of my life retired the first of January, he had been
taken to a celebratory lunch with his coworkers to a lovely Dallas
restaurant and has been wanting to take me there! In fact they have
met for lunch twice to catch up with each other and enjoy
the patio dining experience.
Our youngest is home for a bit of rest and relaxation this week,
so we took full advantage of this gorgeous afternoon and made
reservations for three!
We were blessed with the most beautiful spring weather with
temps in the mid 70s...the sun was shining and
the golfers were out on the golf course....what a delight
to be able to enjoy cocktails and good Mexican food!
Things are turning that beautiful Spring green here in Texas...
this is just a rejuvenating time of year with trees and gardens
beginning to show life again.....
and make food taste even better, don't you think?
and out of loungewear for a change....
while we enjoyed the Crema Chicken Enchiladas....YUM-O
We all three, have received our first of two Covid vaccines and
will take the second dose this coming week.....
I am so thankful for this....
life begins to return to normal....lets enjoy our days...
Until our next adventure......
so beautiful! just knowing Spring is in the air and everything turning green is good for the soul!
