FALL COZY CORNERS...A WEEK OF DECORATING WITH FAVORITES

Good Morning Kindred SPIRITS....
the change is here and these somewhat
cooler afternoons are reminding us
to come outdoors and savor the coming of fall..
Seasonal favorites are the perfect way
to showcase the splendor of the season!
I am pulling out a few favorites, both old
and new to enjoy using this year....

 

I have loved this little pitcher for years now.....
I believe this was a find from Home Goods...
it looks like it could have been hand painted....



And, I was so anxious to shop for the candy corn....
it's never not on the counter during the fall season...
What a long time favorite treat for all of us...

The Butler's Pantry is still a work in progress,
but it looks festive and charming in the evening...

Little touches like a tea towel and cookbook
will enhance a corner of the kitchen, always...
It's a tiny bit of style inspiration...

Just look at this handsome Home Reflections turkey I found
and believe it or not, he was on a clearance price....just beautiful
on Mother's sideboard buffet

These woodland Mercury glass ornaments are actually
ornaments I had on our Christmas tree last year,
but they were so beautiful, I kept them out all year
and placed them in one of my parent's glass ashtrays

Oh, how I love decorating the bar cart.....
she is now dressed for the season...

Once again, I found some darling paper napkins
with the colors I wanted to use in this little dining corner....

I bought this gorgeous table runner for the first
item that inspired me to choose the color pallette
for this area....

I shop my house to see what decor items I want to put out on display
before I purchase anything new.....
do you do that too?

I placed this beautiful garland on the stairway
and will wait until October before I add lights...
I am going to need a slew of batteries for all
the pumpkins, garlands and candles...
but once everything lights up in the evenings...
it's magical....

Oh, I fell in love with this little rug.....what a gorgeous
toile pattern....this is a Walmart find.....
I decided it was perfect for the fireplace hearth....

NOW, I have finally decided on the look for the farmhouse
table and cannot wait to style it....
I am taking a little twist on this one...
with a softer color choice and I think it's going to be beautiful...
we are going to dine with design....

I love this time of year when we have cocktails outdoors
and grill up some fabulous burgers....

Making your home your happy place
is a wonderful feeling of contentment...
it's all in the details....
and it has been just wonderful
to see how happy it makes people who
enjoy featuring their homes dressed for the season!
