DESIGNING A WINE CENTER

I simply love how this design project began.
This is a very small space in the kitchen
of the Divine Miss M.
For some time now, she wanted to replace
the wine rack they have had for many years
with a more stylish look.
The first item she selected was this little wine
cabinet, which was a challenge in itself
due to the space dimensions.

The accessories were also a bit of a challenge
due to limited space and not wanting to
add too much clutter.
A small light was chosen after trying out
perhaps three of four prior to the green glass
lamp she found at Ballard Designs.

Even though Jay is a talented designer
and woodworker, he travels a great deal
so they preordered the shelving unit they chose.

It was really coming together.......

She selected a burlap runner, wine tray
and
a lovely topiary!

She changed the original lampshade out for a burlap shade
she found later.
I love this!

I also love the inlay design in the wooden serving tray!

Isn't the shelving just beautiful?

Design by Miss M....
love it, love it!
Now, can you please come design one for me?

  1. Miss M has achieved success on her wine area. That shelving is perfect . The topiary is a great touch. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
