Good Morning Loves....
welcome back to Estelle's kitchen today!
Many of us are beginning to think about the holidays
and what fabulous food we will be serving for all
of our fall gatherings.
Our dear son-in-law absolutely loves Pecan Pie,
and I have found a recipe that was relatively easy
to make and absolutely delicious!
The best part of this is, it is the recipe
that was shared from a fellow blogger, Marty,
at a Stroll Thru life!!!
Here is her original recipe......
TEXAS
PECAN PIE
Marty featured her favorite pies in a blog post
and that is one of my favorite features of blogging...
sharing favorites...such as recipes, family, and home décor!
I think we can all agree what lovely friends we have
made across the miles.....
Pecan Pie
Beat all ingredients together.
3 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup dark corn syrup
Mix in 1 cup pecan halves
Pour in unbaked pie shell
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes
until center is firm.
I know my family will be enjoying this on Thanksgiving Day!
Pecan pie? Did someone say pecan pie? When I was a child, it was my least favorite, but now? Oh I do love it. This version sounds rich and decadent. I usually bake Pioneer Woman's version, though I may have to try something new.
ReplyDeleteOnce again, I have been studying your header. You are, in my opinion, the header queen. ♥️
Hi Vee....thank you for visiting today! You know what I love about this pie? It is so easy to make and it is not super sweet like many pecan pies...I would say Marty has a first prize blue ribbon winner here! I think you will love it! Warm hugs!
DeleteYUM..M..M..M..Y!
ReplyDeleteHi Latane....I so hope you are enjoying a beautiful week! Thanks for visiting today!
DeleteI agree with Vee, about your beautiful header pictures. Yummy, pecan pie. I like a tiny slice once in awhile. Yours does indeed look tasty. I rarely cook anymore. I get your recipes for my daughter Karen who is a great cook. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteHi Susie....hope you are doing well! I also love you gather recipes for Karen....Maybe she will add this to her favorites! Warm hugs!
DeletePecan Pie is one of the most requested desserts throughout the holidays and I will definitely try this version! I like the dark corn syrup kind the best!
ReplyDeleteThis is the best recipe for Pecan Pie Linda..it's on the hit parade! Enjoy!
DeleteYou know, I LOVE pecan pie. I even crave it sometimes. Yours looks so Yummy, Betsy. Yes, we meet so many creative people here in blog land. You always display your foods on pretty plates and such, and I like this blue one. There's just something about blue in the home that gets to me. Thanks for the recipe. I'm going to send it to Nel. She would love to bake one at Christmastime. ; )
